Anna Marie Shaw, age 92, of Alexandria, passed away on June 2, 2012 at Community Parkview Care Center in Elwood, IN following an extended illness.
Anna was born on August 6, 1919, to Carl and Hazel (Jackson) Boyer in Elwood, IN. Anna married Wilfred J. Shaw on Mar. 7, 1941, and he passed away on Oct. 18, 2001. She retired from Continential Can Corp. of Elwood after 30 years of service.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Elwood and the Eastern Star.

Daughter - Winnie Hillan of Pendleton
3 Granddaughters - Tarah & husband Phil Williams, Hannah Shaw, Anne & husband Rick Dellinger
1 Grandson - Michael & wife Denise Hillan
Great Grandchildren - Matt, Brandon, Bryan DeShon, Colton & Brady Waymire, Alexa, Abigail, Aliva Hillan
2 Sisters - Velma Ritter of Elwood and Jane Bales of Muncie
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at Dunnichay Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Stout officiating.
Burial will take place in Elwood Cemetery.
