He was born on January 25, 1948 in West Bend, the son of Ludwig and Bernetta
(Seyfert) Roecker, and on October 26, 1968, he was united in marriage to Darlene
Wendler at Hope Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.
Tom was a truck driver for many years and was currently employed by Paul
Kohlmann Trucking in Oakfield. He enjoyed playing sheepshead and working on his
dump truck, which was his pride and joy.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene; his mother, Bernetta Roecker of West Bend;
two brothers, Harry (Lori) Roecker of Kewaskum and Richard Roecker of Cathedral
City, California; a sister, Jean (Mike) Cornell of Hartford; two
brothers-in-law, Ronald (Sharren) Wendler of Byron and Verland (Diane) Wendler
of Red Granite; two nieces, three nephews, four great-nieces, other relatives
and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother-in-law, Robert Becker.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Miller
Funeral Home, 215 Forest Avenue, Kewaskum. Rev. Eric Kirkegaard officiated and
burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Peace United Church of Christ Cemetery
in Kewaskum.
Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until
the time of services.
