FORMER CITIZEN DEAD
Mr. T.G. Stewart, a native of this parish, died at Ft. Collins, Colorado, July 8th. The deceased left this parish some time ago. living a while on Cane river and later moved to Texas and from there to Colorado. He was a brother of Messrs. Wm. and D.W. Stewart and Mrs. S.D. Mims of this place, and a half-brother of E.L. Stewart.

BURIED AT PINE GROVE
SUNDAY
The body of Mr. T.G. Stewart, a former citizen of this parish, whose death was mentioned in last week's paper, was brought from Ft. Collins, Colorado, and interred at Pine Grove, the family burying grounds, last Sunday. The widow of the deceased accompanied the remains on their long journey. The remains arrived at Minden on the noon train and were conveyed at once to the Pine Grove cemetery for interment, Rev. A.G. Shankles of this place, officiating at the grave.
In addition to the relatives and friends from Minden and the Grove community who attended the funeral there were present Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Sandlin, Messrs. West and B.F. Boydston from Natchitoches, and Messrs. Theo. Enloe and Ernest Boydston of Mansfield. The Boydston brothers are brothers of the widow of the deceased.
