She married Gottfried George Herzog in 1882 in Russia. They had 8 children b. in Russia of which 7 died there in childhood. She, her husband & one surviving dau, Pauline, immigrated to the U.S. arriving on 12 Dec. 1899 landing in NY. In 1900 they were living in Sutton, Clay, NE were 2 more children were born, Frederick Wilhelm (1900), & Harry Gottfried (1902). They moved to Lincoln, Lancaster, NE about 1904. Their children born there were John(1904), Carl Hunter (1906) & Olinda Katherina "Lindy" (1910). They moved to Montana in 1912.
