HARLAN NEES DIES; RITES PENDING

Harlan R. Nees, 51, died at his home at 330 Valley Drive early this morning. Mr. Nees was born Dec. 28, 1915 in Ryder, N.D. to Elzoo Wilburn and Della May (Larew) Nees.
When 16 years old he moved to Montana and settled in the Forsyth area where he made his home and ranched near Rosebud. Mr. Nees was a county commissioner of Rosebud County and was serving as chairman until he retired and moved to Kalispell in May of this year.
Mr. Nees is survived by his wife, Dolores (nee Patzer); two daughters, Catherine at the family home and Helen Nees, a student at the University of Montana; two brothers, Ehrmel E. Nees of Forsyth and Lynn W. Nees of Wolf Point; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Kelly of Forsyth and Mrs. Ruth Kelly of Hardin.
Funeral services for Mr. Nees will be announced by Waggener & Campbell Funeral Home.
