I do not know if Jerry had any family of his own as he was a young soldier. Here is the information on his parents and siblings:

Father: William W Coleman was last listed in the 1880 federal census in Embarass, Edgar County, Ill, USA. Grave location is currently unknown. William W Coleman was the son of Jeremiah Coleman & Nancy (Wade) Coleman.

Mother: Mary (Blakeman) Coleman was last listed in the 1870 federal census in in Duck Creek, Madison, Indiana, USA. Grave location is currently unknown. Mary Blakeman was the daughter of George Blakeman & Francis (Irvine) Blakeman

Siblings: William & Mary's children were:

1) Martha Abigail Coleman Scott
2)
George A Coleman
3) Jerry M Coleman -- this young man.
4)
Susan Mary Coleman Cornwell

Note that this may be his paternal grandfather's grave:
Jeremiah Coleman

This man may be his paternal uncle's grave: Francis M Coleman

Note added 1/9/2020: As already noted Jerry M. Coleman's mother was Mary (Blakeman) Coleman. Her parents in turn were George Blakeman and Frances "Fannie" (Irvine) Blakeman. In turn Frances's parents were James Irvine and Lettie Underwood. James Irvine was a southern Revolutionary War Patriot.
