MILLICENT WISS

Le Roy, April 30. — Mrs. Millicent Wiss, wife of John Wiss, died yesterday at her home on East Main street, after a long illness, from a complication of diseases. Twenty-four years ago she met with a severe accident in this village, when she was caught between two freight cars at the Lake street crossing. She was a daughter of the late Merritt A. and Hepsibeth Earl Dix. She was educated at the Le Roy Academy and her entire life had been passed in Le Roy. On August 5, 1885, she was united in marriage to Mr. Wiss. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

Besides her husband she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth D. Thwing, of New Rochelle, and Mrs. Charles W. Parsons, of New York. The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon at St. Mark's Church, Rev. Pierre Cushing officiating, and the interment will be made in Machpelah cemetery.
