The daughter of Samuel Pottinger and Caroline "Carrie" Bivens Pottinger. She married William Klenk on 24 Jan 1901 in St Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri.

Mrs. Wm Klenk Passes Away
Death again entered a Hamilton home, this time to claim the life of a highly esteemed and loving woman, Mrs. Lillian Klenk, 45 years old, beloved wife of William Klenk, of 336 Main street, who passed away at 2:36 o'clock thursday morning at the home.

The death of Mrs. Klenk was not wholly unexpected as she had been in failing health for the past ten months. She had been living in Hamilton for a number of years and had gained many friends who sadly mourn her loss. During the period of her illness she was given every medical care, but of no avail.

Besides the bereaved widower, William, she leaves to mourn her loss, one brother, Roscoe Pottenger of Missouria [sic]; one sister, Mrs. Lydia Apple, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon from the Webb funeral home, with Rev. H. A. Dickmann officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call Friday afternoon and evening.
