Mrs. Iris Meade, 64, of Pound, died last Thursday in Wise General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She attended Hamilton Chapel Church.
She is survived by her husband, Troy Meade; two sons, Freddie Fayne Maxwell of Chantilly, VA and Barry Parker Maxwell of Morristown, TN; two sisters, Eleanor Branham of Norfolk and Evelyn Stevenson of Seamon, Ohio; two brothers James Cox and Leon Cox, both of Pound, VA; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Roop officiating. Burial followed in Cox Memorial Lane Cemetery. Baker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
