Maurice J. Archambeault, 52, of 84 Stoughton Avenue, died at 4 p.m., Sunday November 16, 1969 in Massena Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient several days. He had been ill for the past three years.

His mother, Mrs. Irene Paquin Archambeault died in Massena October 2.

Mr. Archambeault was born in Aylmer, Quebec August 31, 1917 a son o Alfred and Irene Mary Paquin Archambeault. He attended Massena schools and worked at Massena Operations of Alcoa until he entered the army in July 1943. He and his four brothers were in various branches of the service during World War 2.

Mr. Archambeault took his military training at Camps in Massachusetts and Missouri and served in the South Pacific. He was hospitalized on his return from service in San Francisco and at Rhoads General Hospital, Utica and received an honorable discharge in June 1945.

He married Bessie Farley in Glen Walter, Ontario April 20, 1940.

Mr. Archambeault was employed in construction work and by Boyce Motors and then General Motors in Massena, until becoming ill.

He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of Massena Post 79 American Legion.
