Prentiss Grace McPhail King, 76, died Thursday, February 23, 2006 at the Jefferson Davis County Extended Care Facility in Prentiss. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss. Services are 2 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2006, at Dublin Baptist Church in Prentiss. Rev. Rod King, Rev. L.C. Anthony and Rev. Robert Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. King was a native of Jefferson Davis County, the daughter of John Henry McPhail and Tina Polk McPhail. She was a member of Dublin Baptist Church, a home-maker, an avid gardner and cook and was a former resident of LaRose, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, Maxie King of Prentiss; two sons, Ronnie Glen King and wife Beverly of Jackson and Rev. Rodney King and wife Stacy of Matthews, La.; five grandchildren, Heather K. Lail, Joshua Joel King, Elizabeth Grace King, David John King and Benjamin Joel King; one step grandson, Layne Hill, one great- grandchild, Mallory Ann Lail and one sister, Addie Mae Coulter of Prentiss.
