WWII Veteran and U.S. Army employee. Formerly of Denver, Colorado, as a Nisei-American, he served in U.S. Military Intelligence Service during WWII. Yoritomo retired from the US Army Engineer Corps of Engineers Topographic Laboratories in 1982, following 32 years of service at Ft. Belvoir, VA. After retirement, Yoritomo was an active member of Nisei Post 185, Optimist Club, and MIS Veterans Club. He also edited an unpublished a book in 1987, Rocky Mountain MIS Veterans Club Autobiographies, consisting of recollections of 38 Nisei members of US Mil Intell Service, WWII.

Dear grandfather of Nina and Brook Pessin-Whedbee, Mia Sorensen, Courtney and Jimmy Whedbee; loving brother of Frank Yoritomo of Golden, CO, Leonard Yoritomo of Reston, VA, and the late Amy Wakasugi.

Died in Towson, Maryland, of unspecified causes.
