OBITUARY- Rev. J. B. Countiss of Freedom, Miss. died at his home last Wednesday evening and was buried at Reasons Graveyard Thursday. the deceased was born in Alabama Sept. 18, 1828 and came to Miss. in 1850. He was for 56 years a member of M. E. Church. Served through the Civil War as a member of CO. F, 42nd Miss. Inf.
He leaves an aged and devoted wife and three children, the latter all married vis: Mrs. G. W. Tindall of Pittsboro, Mrs. H. D. Estes of Kelly and Rev. J. R. Countiss, who is stationed at Oxford, all of Miss.
