Carmen J Miller



Carmen J. Miller, a lifetime resident of Sterling, died Saturday, November 5, 1988, at Denver General Hospital at the age of 77. Born Carmen J. Adams on November 14, 1910, in Sterling, she married John E. Miller in Sterling. He died in 1958. She was a retired bookkeeper for the City of Sterling and for D. J. Fair Lumber Company.



She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star of Sterling.



Survivors include a son, Marvin, Memphis, Tennessee; a brother, Edward Adams, Sterling; and three grandchildren.



Services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 in the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Graves officiating. Burial will be in the Sterling Community Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Porter and Sillin Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been started for the church.
