Cornelia Frances MacDonald Rixse, 89, widow of Spencer B. Rixse, passed away on May 18. Mrs. Rixse was predeceased by her daughter Ann Rixse Spencer (June, 2007).
She is survived by her son Steven (Ruth Ellen); three grandsons, Lee Coleman (Shannon), Christopher Coleman (Janet), and Russell B. Rixse as well as four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jordan, Rachel and Logan. Other family survivors include her sister, Helen MacDonald Griffith; sisters-in-law Virginia MacDonald, Charlotte K. Rixse and Jackie Rixse; nine nephews, nieces, one grand nephew and one grand niece.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 23 at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, Virginia. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until service time at 2:00PM. Interment will be in Warrenton Cemetery.
