Bridgewater, Nov. 8 – Bert A. Ackerson, 71, died at his home here Sunday after a long illness. He was born at Bridgewater, May 18, 1888, the son of Charles and Elnora (Farley) Ackerson. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge 134 of Bridgewater and had been a lifelong resident here. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Helen (Ackerson) Ackerson of Bridgewater; one son, Charles of Vienna, VA.; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral arrangement will be announced.
