She was born Jan. 18, 1906, in Caldwell County to the late Joshua and Callie Hatton Storie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Bolick; a daughter, Betty Jean Hollar; two brothers, Joshua and Odell Storie; and four sisters, Mae Robbins, Lomie Barlowe, Virgie Giles and Alma Storie.
Mrs. Bolick was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church, and she had a great love for flowers and gardening.
