Funeral services for Noah E. Hershberger, 80, a retired farmer, who died at his home near Grantsville, Dec. 26 were held at the Flag Run Amish Church near Niverton, Pa., Sunday afternoon, Dec. 28, and were largely attended.
Rev. George Beiler of Intercourse, Lancaster County, Pa., who preached in English, was in charge, assisted by Bishop John A. Stoltzfus, of Bird-in-Hand, who preached in German. Rev. Emory Yutzy, of Plain City, O., Noah Yoder and Norman Beachy of Springs and chorus sang several selections in German.
The casket bearers were Noah J. Kinsinger, Menno J., Edward, Amos, Samuel and Albert Yoder. Interment was in the church cemetery near by.
Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral rites were: Bishop and Mrs. John A.
