Born in Russell Springs on June 25, 1941, he was the son of Katherine Cook Passmore and the late Isaac Passmore.
Surviving along with his mother are his wife, Mabel Hall Passmore; four sons, Bo, Ricky, Berl and J.F. Passmore, all of Russell Springs; one stepson, J.R. Hall; five daughters, Phyllis Crew and Gail Passmore, both of Russell Springs, Pamela Spaw of Windsor, Susan Luttrell and Mary Jo Rogers, both of Liberty; three brothers, Homer, Kenneth and Paul Passmore, all of Russell Springs; and five sisters, Marie Lawson, Dean Owens, Donna Crew and Polly Hack, all of Russell Springs and Judy Lawless of Jamestown. Ten grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 27 at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Monroe Robertson officiating.
Interment was in the Bethel Cemetery.
