Phyllis Merry, 17 years old residing at 213 Franklin Street, died at 7:14 O'clock Monday morning at Passavant Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Watson, Illinois Dec. 4, 1915, the family moving to Jacksonville about 8 years ago.
Surviving are mother, Mrs. Bertha Merry; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Hupp of Springfield and Miss Evelyn Merry at home; one brother Owen Merry.
The remains were removed to the Arthur G. Cody funeral Home. Services will be held there at 10:30 O'clock Wednesday, with burial in Diamond Grove cemetery.
Rev. Francis E. Smith will officiate at the services. The remains will be taken to the residence this morning.
