Mrs. Ables died Feb. 27, 2009, at Rush Memorial Hospital in Meridian.
She was born Aug. 12, 1925.
Preceding Mrs. Ables in death are her husband, Harold Purvis Ables and a daughter, Margaret Ann Power.
Surviving Mrs. Ables are three daughters, Mary Lee Hood of Sidon, Margie Nell Williams of Union, and Janie Hope Turner of Carrollton; three sons, Harold Ables of Gore Springs, Howard "Bud" Ables of Grenada, and Charles William Ables of Morton; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
