Longtime Anchorage resident, Keri Christine Tuttle, 39, passed away unexpectedly, June 9, 2012 at the Alaska Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Anchorage Funeral Home, 1800 Dare Ave. in Anchorage. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Pastor Rich Irwin, III will officiate. Graveside services will follow at the Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery.
Keri was born January 24, 1973 in Jackson, TN. She moved with her family to Anchorage in 1982. Keri graduated from Robert Service High School in 1991. Keri had worked as a medical biller and certified medical coder at Anderson & Lohr Healthcare Consulting Services since July of 2008. Keri's life revolved around her three precious children.
"Keri was a very sweet, giving and caring person. She tried to help everyone although many times she was often the one in need of help. She always made everyone laugh even when she was going through stressful times; she always had a smile. Keri had no idea how many lives she touched. Her heart was bigger than she was," wrote her family
"Keri was the most precious daughter a mother could ever hope to have. I will miss you more than you know sweet baby. You will always be my care bear. I was with you when you came into this world. I was with you when you left this world," wrote her mother, Cathy.
Keri was preceded in death by her grandfather, Sydney Harrison Smith; and grandmother, Vernie Mae Smith. She is survived by her mother & stepfather, Cathy & Roger Courtney of Gold Hill, OR; father, Terry Slack of Tishomingo, MS; brother and sister in-law, Kevin & Nicole Slack of Wasilla, AK; son, Tyler Tuttle, daughter, Taylor Tuttle and son, Terry Tuttle all of Anchorage, AK; great-grandmother, Vera Slack of Tishomingo, MS; aunt, Connie Robbins of Coos Bay, OR; uncle, Don Smith of Langby, MN; uncle, David Smith of Anchorage, AK; former spouse, Troy Tuttle of Anchorage, AK; former father in-law & mother in-law, Terry & Delores Tuttle of Anchorage, AK; many other family members.
