Mary Catherine Burkhalter, 57, of Purvis, died June 14, 2012, at her home. Services will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Okahola Baptist Church, followed by burial in Burkhalter Cemetery.
Mrs. Burkhalter was a registered nurse with Forrest General Hospital and Quality Hospice and a member of Oak Hill Apostolic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Dorothy Jones and a brother, Allen Jones.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 32 years, Ron Burkhalter of Purvis; a son, Christopher (Billie) Costilow of Newark, Tex.; three daughters: Jennifer (Scott) Mohundro of New Albany, Amber (T.J.) Henderson and Nikki (Mitchell) Garrard both of Purvis; two sisters, Carol (Lloyd) Bracey of Columbia and Myra (Don) King of Winona; and eleven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-3 p.m. at the church.
