She was born Jan. 29, 1887 on Mineral Point R.D., a daughter of David F. & Ellen Jane (Shaffer) Burkhart. her Husband, Irvin L,; a dauther, Mrs. Naomi Snedden and a son, Darrell L. are deceased.
Surviving are these children: Merritt, Greencastle R.D. 3; Mrs. Miriam Beckman, Johnstown and Mrs. Leah Gillin, Mineral Point R.D. There are also 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass was sung at 9:30 a.m. at St. John Vianney's Church, Mundy's Corner with the Rev. Christian Orevec celebrant. Interment in Mundy's Corner Cemetery.
