"Henry was actually born in Illinois in 1847, came to Oregon on a date unknown to me. He and Emily "Emma" Burkhart married in Linn County, Oregon on Sep 12, 1872. At that time, his occupation was listed as "Bootmaker". I show four children, all born in Oregon: Bella, b.1875, Frank, b.1879, Charles Lionel, b.Dec 8, 1883 and Homer, b.@1889. They were living in California prior to their son, Charles's wedding to Henrietta Lockwood Williams on Aug 18, 1909 in Santa Clara Co., CA. Henry and Emma were divorced by 1910. Emma was working as a dressmaker and living next door to Charles and his family in 1910. She died in 1915. Henry, still a shoemaker, was living next door to Homer and his family, also in San Jose, Santa Clara Co., CA in 1920 and he died in 1930. Take care and Thank you for the work you do on find a grave."
