William Wheeden a veteran of the Civil War, died in the Soldier's Home, Vineland, on Friday last as a result of a stroke of paralysis. He was about 74 years old. Mr. Wheedon was a wheelwright and for many years worked for Jacob Wilson at Freneau. He married Lydia Warn and they had two children, both of whom died. With his wife, he left this locality about 14 years ago and went to Vineland. After living a year privately there both the deceased and his wife took up their residence in the Soldier's Home there, in which place they were living at the time of Mr. Wheeden's death.
