Husband of (first) Laura Ann Alley who died shortly after birth of first child, Laura Ann Wright. Married second Mary Elizabeth Alley, sister of Laura Ann Alley. After Timothy's death, Mary Elizabeth married G.C. Dawson.

T.C. Wright (1833-1876) son of William J. and Sarah Anne (Pigford) Wright, who is buried in the Alley Family Cemetery, was also a Confederate veteran. Through the Colorado County Military records, it showed him as a (private) age 27 in 1860; enrolled in Company F, Griffin's Battalion, Texas Infantry (Griffin's Regiment) (21st Infantry), on June 4, 1862 at Columbus.
