CHARLES HENRY MOSS was born on July the 26th, 1891. He was the first son, 2nd child, of:
THOMAS JAMES MOSS, SR. and
ZELLA LAHMAN (Layman)

Charles was born in Niles Township, Delaware County, Indiana. His older sister LOUISE MOSS was also born in Niles Township, Delaware County, Indiana.

The family then moved to Kinross, Michigan in Chippewa County. It was there that 5 more children were born to Thomas J. Moss and Ella Lahman.

In 1905, Charles Henry Moss became very ill with Pulmonary Consumption. He died just 10 days short of his 14th birthday. Cemetery records state he was 13 years, 11 month, 16 days.

Dr. F. J. Maloney, MD of Sault Ste Marie, Michigan certified that he attended to his patient Charles Henry Moss from July 1, 1905 - July 12th, 1905, and that he died on July 16, 1905.
The cause of his death was Pulmonary Consumption, which the doctor states he had for a duration of 6 months.

Five years after the death of Charles Henry Moss, his family decided to move to Manitoba, Canada. Ontario Canada was the birthplace of his father Thomas James Moss, Sr. Charles parents and most of his siblings are buried in Canada, with the exception of his older sister Louise who was married to Bert Prescott in 1908 before the family moved away. Louise ended up living in Manitoba for a time, as well as Washington State and Oregon.

CHARLES HENRY MOSS is buried in the Lakeview Cemetery in Kinross, Michigan, next to his maternal Aunt REBECCA LEHMAN (Lahman) MASON. Aunt Rebecca Mason. Rebecca is the sister to his mother ROZELLA LAHMAN MOSS. He is buried in SEC SW, Block I, Lot 8, Grave 4. Rebecca Mason is on Grave 3.

Both of Charles Henry Moss' parents are buried in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba at the Hillside Cemetery.
