d/s with her twin sister, Martha 'Bailey', but that may be an error as is Martha's sometimes posted death date of 1898 - it appears to be 1878. The girls are the daughters of Yancey and Susan Emaline Croft Bledsoe and are in the 1880 Polk County census as 8 year olds. Ester Ada married James Taylor Brock and had four children, Owen, Elsie, Gracie and Homer. She died 13 February 1901, either at the birth of Homer or shortly thereafter. Taylor took the children and moved to Anderson County to work in the coal mines. He died 7 February 1944 and is buried in Vespar Cemetery in Campbell County, TN.
