Dr. Collier, Brook Answers Call
Dr. Theodore Collier, one of th ebest known practicing physcians in these parts, died Satruday evening at his home in Brook following a severe stroke he received several weeks ago. He as 73 years of age and had been located at Brook for the past 42 years, where he had practiced his profession continously. He had been a member of the school board for 35 years, most of the time president of that organization. On the occasion of his 60th birthday, Dec. 11, 1930, he was honored by a special meeting his townshiop people some 600 in number ands last October the new high school gym was decidcated in his honor
Besides attending other college he graduated from Indiana Medical College in 1893. He aa a member of the Jasper-Newton Medical Association, the Masonic lodge and the Methodist church. He first located at Goodland with Dr. Lovett and in 1894 moved to Brook. Two daughters and a son with the wife survive.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Brook M.E. church.
