HISTORICAL OBITUARY: Mrs. Leah Ackerman, aged 72, widow of Paul Ackerman, died last Sunday at the home of her son, Irvin Ackerman, in Meyersdale. She had been ill for several months, suffering from a complication of diseases. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Annie Holland, of Berlin; George W., of Northampton Township; Charles W., present address unknown; Harry H. and Mahlon P. Ackerman, of Meyersdale. The body was prepared for burial by Johnson & Son, of Berlin. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mt. Lebanon Church; interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, November 13, 1930.
