TONGE — Passed away at Vauxhall on Monday, February 16, 1970, Bert of Vauxhall, at the age of 62 years. Born at Fargo, N.D., August 11, 1907, came to the Vauxhall area with his parents in 1910, Mr. Tonge farmed in the New West district until 1955 after which he was employed with the P.F.R.A. at Vauxhall until his retirement in 1967. Survivors are his wife Tina of Vauxhall; two sons, Harold of Winnipeg, Howard of Coaldale; four daughters, Mrs. Shirley Tokai of Picture Butte, Mrs. Sharon Bell of Lethbridge, Mrs. Donna Host of Calgary, Miss Joan Tonge of Calgary; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Dawson o[ Vauxhall, Mrs. Marjorie Blake of Vauxhall; 13 grand children. Funeral services will be conducted from the Parkview United Church in Vauxhall on Wednesday, February 18, 1970 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Gordon Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Vauxhall Cemetery. Humphries Funeral Home, Taber are in charge of arrangements.
