CIRCLE - Virgil T. "Bud" Merry, 71, formerly of McCone County, died Thursday in a Minneapolis hospital after a long illness.
Born in Devils Lake, N.D., he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Hayne Merry. He moved to McCone County with his parents in 1912 and in 1933 married Ruby Horsford. He married Edna Widmer in 1945.
Survivors include a son, Claude of Lompoc, Calif,; four daughters, Mrs. William (Reba) Sept of Brockway, Mrs. Robert (Lana) Craig of Billings, Mrs. John (Darlene) Hamburg of The Dalles, Ore., and Mrs. Richard (Linda) Kirkpatrick of Montrose, Colo.; a brother, Hershel of Circle; and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip (Gladys) Mittlieder of Great Falls and Mrs. Bud (Bernice) Gray in California.
Services will be in Circle with Clayton Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point in charge,
