Funeral services for John Haese, 86, of the town of Rockland, who died Wednesday at home, will be at 2 pm Saturday at St. John and St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Harvey Heckendorf will officiate and burial will be in West Side Church Cemetery.
Mr. Haese was born Sept. 25, 1879 in the town of Rockland, son of the late Carl and Fredricka Krueger Haese. He married Martha Klann Oct. 7, 1909 at St. John-St. James Church, Reedsville. The couple farmed in the town of Rockland and his wife died in November, 1965. A son, six brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death.
Survivors are two sons, Elmer of Rt. 2, Reedsville and Victor on the home farm; a daughter, Mrs. Orrin Berge of Madison; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home after 4 pm Friday until 10:30 am Saturday and then at the church.
