James Nelson Cullom, 56, of Bowling Green died Aug. 14, 2005, at his residence. He was a former employee of Huish Detergent Manufacturing and a member of Peace Baptist Church of Washington, D.C. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a son of the late Jesse Cullom and Vida Marshall Cullom. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cora Cullom; and a brother, Albert Ray Cullom. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Burnam & Son Mortuary, with burial and military honors at Davis-Hoffman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Survivors include five sisters, Jessie Spencer of Franklin, Jeanette Cullom Terrell and her husband, William, of Auburn, Bobbie Johnson and her husband, Leon, of Washington, D.C., Marie Furlong of Bowling Green and Michelle Terrell of Rochester, N.Y.; and two brothers, Jerry Cullom of Franklin and Marshall Cullom of Bowling Green.
