Norman Reindl, 62, of Chicago, Ill., a former Manitowoc resident, died Sunday, April 20. Private graveside services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Branch Evergreen Cemetery. Amvets post no. 99 of Manitowoc conducted military graveside services.
Mr. Reindl was born May 30, 1917, at Antigo, Wis., son of Mrs. Julia Preston Reindl and the late John E. Reindl. He was a local radio announcer before entering military service during World War II. Mr. Reindl was employed as a chef in the Chicago area.
Survivors include his mother, of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Roland (Lucille) Franz of Floral City, Fla., Mrs. Clement (Marian) Doolan of Francis Creek; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Viola Reindl of Green Bay, nieces and nephews. His father John and a brother Irwin preceded him in death.
Saur Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
