Coy V. Streeter of Hale, Michigan, formerly of Burton, Michigan, age 86 passed away June 15, 2012 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, Florida. He was born September 26, 1925 in Durand, Michigan, to the late David S. and Mildred (Seeburger) Streeter. He married the former Thelma E. Schlorff April 30, 1955 and she survives him.

Coy was graduated from Durand High School Class of 1944, attended GMI in Flint, was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Flint MI, and was a Life Member of: Davison Blue Lodge #236 F & AM, Davison Chapter #299 O.E.S., Genesee Valley Commandry #15, & Royal Arch Masons. He was also a member of the White Shrine #56 in Flint, is Past Assoc. Guardian of Bethel #20 I.O.J.D. Davison and Past Assoc. Grand Guardian International Order of Job's Daughters of the State of Michigan. He retired from AC in 1985 after 33 ½ years of service where he had worked as a graphic arts specialist. Coy resided in Hale since 1985 after moving from Burton and spent winters in Ft. Myers FL for many years.

He is survived by his wife Thelma, his daughter Beth (Norm) Heyboer of Ft. Myers FL, and his sons, Robert (Linda) Streeter of Arizona and Scott Streeter of Florida. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Robert, Jeff, Christina, Sean, and Melissa; 4 Great Grandchildren; sister in law Joan Streeter of Durand; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers Millard, Dale and Keith and his sister Wanda McMichael.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday June 22, 2012 at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe Street, Bay City. The Reverend Gail Vince will officiate. Private family burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon, Michigan. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m., and Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.at the funeral home, an O.E.S. and Masonic Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Job's Daughters Scholarship Fund or Hope Hospice of Fort Myers, FL.
