It is believed by family members that Nathan, Martha and many other Holts are buried in Holt Cemetery. During my tour of the cemetery I found 15 to 20 graves marked only by head and foot field stones. Many of these graves are sunken in. And a couple head stones that are unreadable. This property was originally owned by William Holt. I was told up at the state park lodge that William had owned all the property in that area including where the park is today.
