John W. Dunlap, 64, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at Veterans Hospital. Born in Texas, he lived in Syracuse for 40 years. Mr. Dunlap retired from Veterans Hospital and was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of VFW. Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer and Julia; special friends, Jesse (Rosalyn) Hurt and Arlene (Ludd) Gere. A special thank you to Wilma George at the CLC and Gwen Menton and the entire CLC Health Team, we are eternally grateful for their service. Funeral services: Thursday 11 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Onondaga Veterans Memorial Cemetery. An hour of visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
