A longtime resident of McGehee and Little Rock, Arkansas, Karin worked as an at-home healthcare aid. She was a member of the Little Rock Baptist Hospital Auxiliary as well as the Faith Lutheran Church of Little Rock, where she served on the Ladies' Guild Altar. Karin enjoyed music, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Karin is preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, Carleton Salley, of Harrison, AR.
Karin is survived by her sister and brother-in-law
and four nieces and nephews, all of whom still reside in Germany; a daughter and her husband; a daughter, and a son, all of Harrison; and her former husband, of McGehee, AR. She is also survived by four grandchildren: a grandchild, of McGehee, AR; a grandchild of Springfield, MO; a grandson and his wife, of Springfield, MO; and a grandchild of Harrison. Three great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends will remember Karin fondly and miss her kind, gentle spirit.
Graveside burial services will be held on Thursday, June 21, at Maple Leaf Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Twin Lakes Nursing Home in Flippin.
