As a result of injuries in Vinh Long Province, South Vietnam on 23 May 1968. First Lt. William C. Ahouse, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin B. Ahouse, Sr., died Friday in a Japan hospital of second and third degree burns. His parents were notified Saturday.
Lt. Ahouse died at the 106th General Hospital in Yokahana. He was transferred there shortly after sustaining injuries in Vietnam May 23.
Funeral arrangements will be announced.
Survivors include his parents; his widow, Jane Malcolm Ahouse, Winter Haven, Florida; brother, Franklin B. Ahouse, Jr., Meridian, Mississippi; sister, Mrs. William L. Murphey, Charlotte, North Carolina; and Mrs. William O. Avera, maternal grandmother, Wrens, Georgia.
He was age 22
