We last week reported the death of Zenas Doty, Esq., one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Falmouth. For years Mr. Doty faithfully served the Barnstable County Agricultural Society, as a member of its Executive Committee, and was well-known in all the towns of the upper portion of the Cape as a man of Strict integrity, and for his unswerving fidelity to principle. His home at Hatchville was a most hospitable one, the latch string being ever out to the tired way farer, and many a man kindly remembers that home as constituted years ago. In Mr. Doty we had a personal friend, and we can but mourn with those loved ones whom he leaves behind.
