MRS. ANTONIA "TONI" BARBARA JONES, beloved wile ol Mr. Dan Jones of Vauxhall, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, l998 at the age of 61 years.
Toni was born on September 17, 1936 at Macklin, Saskatchewan, the second child of Alex and Elizabeth Pakarno, Along with her lamily she resided near Compeer, Alberta where she was raised. In 1955 she moved to Hays with her family where she helped her parents with the Irrigation farm. In Hays she met Dan and later married him on February 11, 1956. In 1963 they moved to Vauxhall and have resided there since. She operated Toni's Kwik Clean in Vauxhall until 1989 and then became a Personal Care Attendant, working up until the time of her illness.Toni enjoyed the Medical Profession of caring for her clients who became like family to her and she developed many close personal friendships with them. Her special interests included taking walks and enjoying the outdoors, fishing with her family and gardening, especially growing Tulips.
She was a Christian person who was very active within the Calholic Church. Toni was very family-oriented and loved to spend time with her family and held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. Besides her loving husband Dan, she is survived by 2 daughters , 1 son, 3 brothers & 2 sisters.
She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Elizabeth Pakarno, infant daughter Patty Marie and brother-in-law Morley McAughey..
