Ruby Mae Kupiec, 95, of Edmond, Okla., was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, June 18, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Ruby was born August 28, 1916 in Stilwell, Okla.

She married John Kupiec on October 24, 1943 in Columbus, Kan., and had four children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Denton Walker and Elizabeth Jane Thomas Craig; husband John Kupiec; son Jim Crow; grandson Rodney John Kupiec Jr., and brothers Raymond Craig and Royce Craig.

She is survived by sisters Rosie Butler, Ruth Wyatt, Regina "Maxine" Norwine; brother Richard Craig; daughter-in-law, Lois Drain of Oklahoma City; daughter Gale Hall and husband Larry, of Albuquerque, N.M., son Rodney Kupiec of Oklahoma City; son Thomas Kupiec and wife Carolyn of Edmond; grandchildren: Phyllis Heinze, James Crow Jr., Chelle Stringer, Sarah Kupiec, Amy Dean, Ross Kupiec, Luke Kupiec, Craig Kupiec, Emily Juliuson; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Ruby built her family's foundation on Christ's love and mentored each child, grandchild, and great-grandchild. She enjoyed singing hymns, going to church, canning foods, cooking and a good garage sale every now and then. She attended and was active in the Britton Assembly of God Church for many years. Her impact was far-reaching in her community, family and the Kingdom of God. She will be missed by the many whose lives she touched throughout her life.

A viewing will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Highpointe (previously Lakeside Assembly of God), 6810 NW 122nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73142. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
