June M. Latick, age 83, of Chisholm, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. She was born June 26, 1925, in Hibbing to Hiriam J. and Myrtle E. (Morrissey) McDonald. She attended Hibbing Schools.

June was united in marriage on Aug. 7, 1954, in Hibbing to Donald W. Latick. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chisholm. June and Donald "Biff" loved to polka, where they met many wonderful people during their polka travels. Family and friends are now comforted in knowing they are now dancing the polka together in heaven.

Survivors include her daughters, Jean (Ján) Gadzo, Joan (Albert) Uchal and Brenda (Chas) Nylund; six grandchildren; one great grandson; sisters, Ruth Ann (Elmer) Carter, Betty Jean Ruff; brother, Jim McDonald; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald W. on April 27, 1988; and by her siblings, Robert, Tom, Jack and Bernard McDonald and Mary Lou Clusiau.
