After graduating from Hall High School he attended Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana prior to graduating from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a degree in Public Administration. Vic was a proud member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and an avid Razorback fan.
He spent his entire professional career in the automobile industry. Beginning in junior high until his retirement some 40 years later he worked in sales, parts, service and management. Vic spent many fun filled hours playing golf with his family and friends. Three of those outings were especially memorable with holes in one.
Vic was preceded in death by his father, Victor Dixie Wright, Sr and is survived by his mother, Emma Wright Thomas; twin sons, Victor Dixie (Trey) Wright, III and wife, Tamara and grandchildren, Madison and Devin and Birch Goodwin Wright and wife, Rebecca and grandchildren, Parker and Caroline. Vic is also survived by two sisters, Ruth Ann Toolate and Julie Wright Pennington and husband, Jamie.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Pinecrest Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Little Rock, Ark. where Vic was a member for 59 years. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Collins.
