Mrs. Elisa (Grandma) Abrahams, 95, died Tuesday afternoon at Cedarview Nursing home. Born Jan. 21, 1884, in Altenburg, Germany, she came to the United States in 1907.

She married John Abrahams on may 15, 1908 in Dickinson, N.D. They farmed near taylor until moving to Owatonna in 1928.

Mrs. Abrahams was a memeber of St. John Lutheran Church. She is survived by five sons, William Abrahams, Herbert Abrahams, Melvin Abrahams, and Carl Abrahams, all of Owatonna, and Robert Abrahams of Marshalltown, Iowa; and six daughters, Mrs. Frank (Henrietta) Adams of Northwood, Iowa, Mrs. Clifford (Dorothy) Strong of Austin, Helen Abrahams of New Salem, N.D., Mrs. Louise Permann of Bismark, N.D., Mrs. Lee (Matilda) Jensenof Owatonna and Mrs. Martha Albin, also of Owatonna. She is also survived by 46 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1951.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St John Lutheran Church with the Rev. Russ Rudolph officiating. Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at the Conley-Wollin Funeral Chapel and one hour before the service Friday at the church.
