Lohrville - Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon, at the home, for Ronald Leon Ness, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ness.
Ronald, who was five months old, died at 3:30 Wednesday morning [September 4, 1940] at the Rockwell City hospital following a short illness. He became ill Tuesday noon and submitted to an operation at the hosptial late in the afternoon.
He is survived by his parents and one sister, Glenda; his granparents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Corson of Rockwell City and T. G. Ness of Sioux Rapids; and other relatives. (Advocate, Rockwell, IA, September 5, 1940)
