Mrs. Agnes Catherine Shores, 7425 Betsy Ross Drive, Frederick, died Tuesday, June 11, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Carl D. Shores, who predeceased her in 1967.

Born May in Knoxville, Mrs. Shores was a daughter of the late Harry and Frances Reynolds Price.

Surviving Mrs. Shores are three sons, Bernard D. Shores of Buckeystown, Carl H. Shores of Adamstown and George W. Shores of Frederick; five daughters, Mrs. Anna F. Smith of Frederick, Mrs. Violet M. Baugher of Lime Kiln, Mrs. Catherine G. Mayne of Reels Mill Road, Mrs. Bertha L. McKenzie of Frederick and Mrs. Rosie M. Burrier, Mount Airy; one brother, Charles Price, Baltimore; 19 grand- children, 13 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, and Thursday June 13, at the Smith, Keeney
and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 14, in Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. Kenneth C. Hamrick, Thurmont United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Garden of Christis I, Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
