CONCORDIA - Isabelle C. Nixon, 86, Concordia, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1992, at the Mount Joseph Care Home, Concordia. Mrs. Nixon was born Isabelle C. Shepard on April 26, 1905, at Wayne, and was a lifelong resident of the Concordia area. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Concordia, and the Senior Citizens. Her husband, Dwight, died in 1977. Survivors include a son, Darrell D. Nixon of Roseville, Calif.; a sister, Rotha Havel of Salina; a brother, James Shepard of Garden Grove, Calif.; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia, the Rev. James Akins officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Senior Citizens or Mount Joseph Care Home. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
